This was a great article with some helpful tips for conducting parent teacher conferences. I think parent teacher conferences are very valuable and contribute to the success of your child's educational journey.

I am not a teacher but as a parent I see that there is not always a lot of parental support and that really bothers me. I am proud to say that since I moved my daughter to a charter school, that I have seen the parental support increase dramatically. Every PTO meeting is packed to capacity, I have never witnessed anything like this before!

For the teachers, how do you encourage your parents to support your classroom and their child? Is it a difficult task or do you find it easy to get the support you need????
